Exactly 12 months since my last post on this blog... Obviously I have been very busy or not capable of sitting in front of a blank screen during a whole year!
I have spent exactly one week in Tana and I am still wondering how I will adjust after a 40 year absence. I also rediscover how it is to live in a couple, after a lonely stay in Haiti: It is quite funny to feel frustrated because you don't have enough space for your clothes in the cupboards, already filled with those of your partner, or insist on having your own bathroom with your stuff exactly where you want them to be...
The living room is full of objects and furniture reminding us of all the places where we have been living or traveling and more are still in boxes and suitcases...
I have started to use FB to reconnect with friends and relatives with whom I may start a second career but for the moment nothing is very clear on what I would like to do. I am still very much attached to what I have been doing for the past 23 years and plus.
After getting all the needed connections, i.e. mobile number, internet, satTV, I will slowly get myself on top of the issues to be addressed: housing improvements, work, political environment and my possible involvement/engagement... We will see.
